A warm welcome awaits you at Funky Monkey. We are a newly established Guesthouse in the heart of the old city of Chiang Mai.
Situated on a quiet street (soi) just 30 metres from the famous moat. The Guesthouse is ideally located, just a five minute walk
from Thae Pae Gate (Sunday Market) and literally just 1 minutes walk around the corner is Somped Market (a local Thai market
full of fresh produce). Our Guesthouse offers very spacious, clean and modern accommodation that is fully equipped with one
king size and one single bed in each room. Each room also has a lounge area with a sofa and armchairs, cable T.V. and a fridge

All rooms comfortably sleep 3 people; an additional bed is available upon request.

Chiang Mai
Is often called the jewel of northern Thailand, an ancient city steeped in history & to this day has a
flourishing vibrant culture. Chiang mai is the capitol of the Lanna region (Lanna meaning land of a million rice fields).
Many travellers use Chiang Mai as a base to enjoy the delights of Northern Thailand. However, a lot of tourists find
themselves staying longer than expected. As well as local assistance we are here to help plan the next step of your journey.
The city is unique in many respects as it is an old walled city boasting
many interesting features including over 300 temples, beautiful
mountain scenery and several national parks within easy reach.
You will also find a wide selection of traditional local markets as well as the famous Sunday handicraft market and Night Bazaar.
Amongst all these offerings the typical facilities of any sizable city can be found, such as shopping centres, cinemas, bowling alleys and a
huge choice of restaurants and bars.
